Actor Alyy Khan to star in American movie ‘The Valley’
TV actor Samina Peerzada will also be making an appearance in the film

Fresh off his stint in Actor in Law, Alyy Khan has wasted no time in moving onto his next project, an American movie titled The Valley. Speaking to The Express Tribune, the television actor revealed he has been roped in to play one of the main leads in the upcoming film. Describing the movie as a drama, the actor shared a brief synopsis of the film.
“It is basically about an Indian American entrepreneur in Silicon Valley and how he wrestles with the different questions surrounding his own life in the aftermath of his daughter’s suicide,” said Khan.
According to the Mah-e-Meer actor, he was going to fly to San Francisco for the filming of the movie, which is being directed by Saila Kariat. Khan is not the only Pakistani actor starring in the movie, since TV actor Samina Peerzada will also be making an appearance in the film.

Unwilling to divulge any vital information about the nature of his character in the film, Khan revealed that unlike his previous appearances, which have been extended cameos, this character will be more detail-oriented.
“My character in The Valley is going to be a bit more detailed and integral in comparison to the previous international projects that audiences have seen me in,” he remarks.
Khan has previously starred in other notable international projects such as Don 2, Luck By Chance, A Mighty Heart and Traitor. He recently appeared in the British television serial Indian Summers as well. Apart from his work on film and television, the versatile actor also voiced the villainous character ‘Mangu’ in the animated feature 3 Bahadur by Oscar-winning director, Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy.
From the makers of ‘Na Maloom Afraad’ comes ‘Actor in Law’
In an earlier interview with The Express Tribune, the actor described his role in the upcoming film Actor in Law as that of an antagonist. “Every film is going to have an antagonist and protagonist. If you are looking at it from that angle, then yes, I am playing the role of the former. But I won’t classify my character as a negative antagonist. He’s the yin to the protagonist’s yang.”
