Kissan package: Scrutiny of 3,539 applications begins

Scrutiny of farmers eligible to receive benefits under the Cholistan Kissan Package has begun. A divisional committee, led by an additional commissioner, and comprising four members will check 3,539 applications.


They have four days to complete the process and present a report to the Bahawalpur commissioner.

The committee will scrutinise applications from Channan Pir, Mithra, Khatdi, Ladam Sar and Yazman on Sunday; applications from Kanganwala, Mirana, Daiwala, Derawar and Jugait on Monday; applications from seven villages in Rahim Yar Khan district and Gulshan Fareed on Tuesday; and applications from Chaks 2-R and 2-L, Head Fareed, 1-L Chak, Haider Shah Pholda and Mansoora will be scrutinised on Wednesday.

The committee will present a scrutiny report to Bahawalpur Division Commissioner Saqib Zafar. Additional Coordination Commissioner Saqib Ateel is leading the committee.
