Condemned: Death warrants issued for convict

RAWALPINDI: A district and sessions judge on Saturday issued death warrants for a convicted murderer. Khalid Iqbal was convicted for murdering a youth in Banda Nagyal, in the jurisdiction of Chauntra Police Station, on December 29, 1989. According to death warrants, he will be hanged in Adiala Jail on March 8. Jail officials said the convict has been moved to a death cell. They said the family visitation was scheduled for Monday.
