Fruit, Vegetable Prices: Public asked to demand rate lists

ISLAMABAD: The capital’s market committee says efforts are under way to ensure sale of fruits and vegetables at prescribed rates. A Market Committee Islamabad spokesperson has urged the public to ask vendors to display rate lists prominently. He said items such as potatoes are available for Rs24 per kg, onions for Rs48, and tomatoes for Rs37.
