Bollywood beauty Parineeti Chopra said she is amazed to see how popular Bollywood is outside India. After returning from an elongated holiday in Australia, the Ishaqzaade actor said, “The trip was awesome. I will never forget it.” She said the recognition she got there was amazing. “Even at the airport, people told me that they had seen me in the news. It’s cool that I could make a small mark there,” Bollywood.com quoted her as saying.
While vacationing Down Under, Chopra constantly kept her fans up-to-date with her activities through a series of posts on social media. It was evident that she was having a great time but things became even more exciting when a local Australian daily, The Cairns Post, interviewed her.
Parineeti turns singer
The newspaper published a photoshopped picture of the actor who was last seen in Kill Dil, placing a Bollywood sign in the background, much like the famous Hollywood sign in Los Angeles, US.
“She has always wanted to visit Australia. She finally got a chance to take a trip there this year. Interestingly, her fans would often gather at her hotel. They wanted to meet her. She was quite taken aback, as she never expected such a response,” a source close to the actor said, adding, “The picture they published was one she had herself uploaded online. She spoke about her trip to Australia and about the Hindi film industry, among other things.”
