The Pakistan Railways has upgraded the Karachi Express train, which will be inaugurated on March 15.
The trains will depart every day from Karachi at 5pm and will reach its destination, Lahore, at 11am. The divisional commercial officer, Pakistan Railways, Karachi, Nasir Nazeer, said the train will be launched with enhanced facilities. The train will have the capacity of 800 passengers and will have four air-conditioned business coaches, eight economy class coaches and one air-conditioned sleeper coach.
Nazeer further stated that the train will have modern facilities, such as LED, WiFi, curtains, mineral water and separate staff for maintenance in each coach. The fares will, however, stay the same.
The train will also stop at Hyderabad, Nawabshah, Rohri, Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalpur, Multan, and Sahiwal and there will be separate quota for these stations, added Nazeer.
