Kidnapping Case: Body of teacher found in Charsadda

HANGU: The body of a teacher was found in Prang, Charsadda on Thursday morning. A police official told The Express Tribune the deceased was identified as Hazrat Khan, a teacher at Government Primary School No  1 in Kahi area of Hangu. “A few days back, Hazrat Khan had gone to Peshawar for some work and was abducted by unidentified men,” he said. “His bullet-riddled body was found in a field in Prang.” The remains were handed over to Hazrat Khan’s family and he was laid to rest in Kahi. An FIR was registered against the incident and investigation is under way. Separately, the Hangu police have arrested 32 proclaimed offenders, three smugglers and 30 suspects during a series of raids conducted in February. They have also seized six SMGs, six rifles, 14 guns, 34 pistols and two hand grenades during these crackdowns.
