Twitter explodes as #Kamalgate takes over Karachi

#MustafaKamal trended worldwide during former mayor's two-hour-long presser

News Desk March 03, 2016

Former Muttahida Qaumi Movement leader and a once beloved ‘son’ of party supremo Altaf Hussain, Mustafa Kamal took the country by surprise not only when he returned to Karachi after two years but when he launched a tirade against Hussain during a presser at his residence in the metropolis.

Kamal broke down in tears as he spoke of what the party has now come to stand for under Hussain's inebriated leadership.

What started as speculation about the former Karachi mayor's return to the country after having quietly departed in 2013 turned into praise following his two-hour tirade against Altaf Hussain as #MustafaKamal trended worldwide.

The People of Karachi Still Have Fond Memories of His Work.
What sort of work was that, can you please elaborate on that? Those 3-4 bridges in the city you mean to say are worth 3,000,000,000.
The_Just_Paki | 8 years ago | Reply I don't know if Mustufa Kamal is working on someone's agenda or not. But one cannot disagree with him. Whatever he said has made my faith in humanity restored. I always had a sneaking fondness for him and after this press conference, I have become his staunch supporter without thinking twice and here is the catch: I'm a PTI voter from Karachi!
