Corporate corner: Shaheen Air receives first of four Airbuses

The airline is expanding its wings and plans to mark its flagship on all major destinations of the world

Shaheen Air International (SAI) received the first of four Airbus A330-200s yesterday at Jinnah International Airport Karachi. With the induction of these 04 A330 - 200s, SAI will have a total of 25 aircraft in its fleet and would be commencing its operations to destinations in Far- East and Europe. The A330-200 is a wide body aircraft with 326 seating capacity. The A330 - 200s will operate on new international routes for Manchester, Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok. Shaheen Air International, founded in 1993, is the second national carrier in Pakistan with its head office on the grounds of Jinnah International Airport in Karachi. Shaheen Air International, which provides passenger, cargo and charter services, serves 7 Local and 12 International destinations. The airline is expanding its wings and plans to mark its flagship on all major destinations of the world.
