PESHAWAR: Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs Imtiaz Shahid Qureshi has assured steps taken by the “dynamic” leadership of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairperson Imran Khan and Chief Minister Pervez Khattak for the development in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa will bear fruit.

This was stated in a handout issued on Tuesday. According to the document, Qureshi was addressing various delegations from his constituency of PK-39, Kohat at his office at the Civil Secretariat. He said the process would be free of corruption.

“The pace of development would be expedited and supremacy of law would prevail at all costs to achieve the ultimate goal,” the handout cited Qureshi as saying.

“The PTI-led government focused all its attention on human development rather than huge expenditures on material things.”

The minister said education, health and other social sectors were being streamlined to create a welfare society.

The delegations lauded the role of the K-P government in bringing about considerable improvement in the standard of schools, hospitals and policing. They appreciated the law minister’s efforts to accelerate development in Kohat.
