UK to provide assistance to Lahore police

LAHORE:
A two-member British High Commission delegation and some Scottish police experts called on Inspector General of Police Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera on Monday. The law enforcement officials discussed cooperation in fields of investigation, counter-terrorism and training. They agreed that the countries would benefit immensely from cooperation in these fields. They hoped similar visits could be held in future as well.

They assured IGP Sukhera of their cooperation in the aforementioned areas. The IGP thanked the delegation.
Operations Additional IG Capt (r) Arif Nawaz and Training Additional IG Capt (r) Usman Khattak were also present on the occasion.
Later, Capt (r) Usman Khattak presented a souvenir to the delegation.
