QUETTA: The fruits of the development of Gwadar port city should reach the people of the province and not just the selected few of the ruling elite, said Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP-M) chairman Sardar Akhtar Jan Mengal. Speaking on the death anniversary of the party activist Innayatullah Langov at Quetta Press club, he said that Baloch were not against development provided they were granted the right to ownership over the coast and resources of Balochistan. He also stressed upon the members of the student unions to focus on their education. “There are 1.1 million children out of school in Balochistan, how can you face an adversary without education?….Remember the power of the pen is greater than the bullet,” he said.
