General Raheel Sharif appreciated General Lloyd efforts for peace and stability in Afghanistan

Commander United States Central Command (US CENTCOM) General Lloyd Austin on Sunday acknowledged and praised Pakistan Army’s sacrifices for regional stability, while paying rich tributes to the professionalism and achievements of soldiers in operation Zarb-e-Azb

According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the outgoing General Austin paid a farewell call to General Raheel Sharif at the General Headquarters (GHQ).

While acknowledging Pakistan’s earnestness for peace in the region, General Austin thanked the army chief for the hospitality he extended during the former’s visit to Pakistan.

During the meeting, the army chief appreciated General Lloyd efforts for peace and stability in Afghanistan.

Paying tribute to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives in fight against terrorism, the US general laid a floral wreath at the Yadgar-e-Shuhada.
