The Miryan tribe on Saturday voluntarily returned weapons to security forces that were given to them earlier for security purposes in Bannu district. A tussle between Jani Khel and Miryan tribes that claimed the lives of many people over the last several years was finally resolved and weapons were returned. Elders of the tribes held a jirga under the supervision of Bannu DIG Muhammad Tahir Khan and Bannu DPO Gul Afzal Khan Afridi to find a solution to their old enmity.
