LAHORE: An additional district and sessions judge has fixed for arguments a petition filed by a man seeking registration of a case against 27 police officials, including a DSP, for snatching Rs425,000 from him. Advocate Chaudhry Shehzad submitted that he had been representing Zeeshan in some court cases, and had received the money from him for the purpose. He said that a few days ago, some police officials, including DSP Riaz Shah and SI Muhammad Ilyas, had raided his house saying that Zeeshan was a criminal. “They said Zeeshan had told them that he had handed the amount to me,” Shehzad said.
