Family tragedy: Two brothers shot dead
The police handed over the bodies to the relatives and started a search operation in the Malikabad area
MARDAN:
Two brothers were gunned down on Friday at noon by unidentified men on the main Koragh Road near Malikabad in Mardan district. Police said Muhammad Abbas and Muhammad Waqas went to Parhoti to run an errand when unidentified riders opened fire at them, killing both on the spot. They managed to escape from the scene of the crime. The police handed over the bodies to the relatives and started a search operation in the Malikabad area. The father of the two deceased, Muhammad Manzar, claimed the family had no enmities or personal disputes. An FIR was registered and investigation is under way.
