Illegal sport: Four booked for selling kites in Chakwal

The police have registered cases against all the four kite sellers.

CAHKWAL: The Chakwal district police on Thursday booked four persons for selling kites and seized a huge quantity of kites and strings from their possession. The police raided the sale point of Umar Farooq at the Jhudyal bus stand and seized 45 kites and a roll of iron string. The seller escaped the raid. Another police team raided the kiosk of Zafar at the Bhon bus stand and seized 50 kites and 25 strings. The kite seller escaped the scene. Yet another police team raided a sale point of Munir Mehdi and seized 52 kites and 29 strings. Another police team raided the kiosk of Nasir and seized 1,200 kites and 150 strings. The owner escaped the raid. The police have registered cases against all the four kite sellers.
