Awareness: Narcotics blamed for social ills

FAISALABAD: Speakers at a seminar on Thursday stressed the need for creating awareness among people about effects of narcotics. The seminar was arranged at a textile mills under the aegis of an NGO and DHQ Hospital. Psychiatrist Imtiaz Dogar and NGO general secretary Muhammad Anwar Khan were among the speakers. They called narcotics the reason behind several social evils. They called for effective measures to eradicate the menace from the society. They said awareness of the problem was the key to keep the youth away from drugs.
