SARGODHA: District Coordination Officer (DCO) Saqib Manaan has said that Jashn-i-Baharan festivities will be held in the district from March 15 to March 30. He chaired a meeting to review arrangements for a spring festival. The District Coordination Officer said all-out efforts would be made to provide entertainment facilities to citizens. ADC Farooq Rasheed, Federal Parliamentary Secretary Hamid Hameed, MPA Bahadar Abbas Maken and the district sports officer were also present on the occasion. The meeting was informed that various functions would be organised at Mela Mandi Ground. These include a folk music event, a sham-i-ghazal, tent-pigging, luddi dance and photography, painting, essay-writing and speech competitions. Pet shows will also be arranged.
