Days after an FIR of the Pathankot airbase attack was registered in Gujranwala, India said it was still awaiting details of investigations in Pakistan and a visit by the probe team.
“The [Indian] government awaits details [of investigations] from Pakistan and also awaits visit by Pakistan’s special investigation team (SIT),” Indian Minister of State for External Affairs VK Singh told the parliament in New Delhi on Wednesday, Press Trust of India reported.
As many as eight people had been killed when gunmen had stormed the Pathankot airbase in Indian Punjab.
On Monday, Adviser to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz had said that the SIT, formed to probe the attack, would be visiting India in the first few days of March.
Meanwhile, India submitted a fresh list of 11 terrorists allegedly from Pakistan-based terror groups to the United Nations Sanction Committee.
