The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Wednesday arrested a man suspected of smuggling about Rs130 million from Lahore to Dubai.
"Zeeshan Naseer Butt s/o Naseeruddin Butt was set to board flight EK623 to Dubai from Lahore's Allama Iqbal International Airport when FIA officials arrested him," a senior FIA officer told The Express Tribune.

According to the official, Zeeshan managed to reach the departure lounge after clearance from Airport's Security Force (ASF) and Custom and Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) counters.
"FIA officers successfully arrested the suspect and recovered a large sum of foreign currency, including, €1,454,000, Dhs1,591,000, $10,000 and £2,500," he added. When converted, the amount adds up to about Rs130 million.

The suspect was arrested and sent to FIA corporate crime circle for further investigation.
