Nawaz Told: Jinnah Chair at LSE under study

The PM said that the government will welcome any academic programmes offered by LSE

ISLAMABAD: Professor Craig Calhoun, Director and President London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at PM House on Tuesday. In recognition of the achievements of the founding father of Pakistan, the director informed that they are considering establishing Jinnah Chair at LSE. Appreciating the overall improved situation in Pakistan, the Director LSE said that they see a new found hope in Pakistan. “We see improved security and much better economy in Pakistan,” he said. PM Nawaz informed the visiting delegation that Pakistan is on the right path of ensuring a great future for the country. The meeting also discussed the possibilities of a bilateral student-exchange programme. The PM said that the government will welcome any academic programmes offered by LSE.
