Targeted Operation: FC arrests 15 militants from Quetta

QUETTA: Frontier Corps arrested 15 suspects from the Balochistan provincial capital on Tuesday foiling a potential subversive bid in Dera Bugti. According to spokesman of Balochistan Frontier Corps Khan Wassey, FC carried out targeted operations in Quetta’s outskirts, including Tin Town, Sirki Road and Brewery Road booking 15 suspects and recovering a number of weapons from their custody, including 4 SMGs, 6 pistols, 2 rifles and hundreds of rounds of ammunition. The suspects have been detained for further interrogation, the spokesman added. In yet another operation, FC foiled another subversive bid in the Chashma area of Dera Bugti recovering 15kg of explosives and two homemade IEDs.
