LAHORE: An additional district and sessions judge on Tuesday sought comments from the Mozang SHO in connection with a petition filed by a woman seeking the registration of a case against her stepmother for killing her father.  Petitioner Nasreen Bibi told the court that Nusrat Bibi and her accomplices had poisoned her father Muhammad Yaseen. Nasreen said Nusrat had killed Yaseen to obtain his property. She said Nusrat had gotten Yaseen’s body buried without having an autopsy carried out on it. Nasreen said she had approached the relevant SHO in this regard but he had not entertained her request. She asked the court to direct the SHO to register a case against Nusrat for killing her father.
