Cricketer's surprise catch amazes his fellows during a cruise ship party in Dubai waters

Islamabad United’s Muhammad Irfan seems to have taken the saying 'catches win matches' too seriously.

In a video that has now gone viral on social media, the cricketer is seen on a cruise ship in Dubai as a flock of seagulls passes by him and his teammates. What follows next, however, is truly a sight to behold.

To the shock and disbelief of his teammates, the seven-foot-tall fast-bowler simply extends his hands to catch one of the seagulls mid-flight in the most nonchalant manner. Thankfully, Irfan carefully released the bird moments later.



Islamabad United are set to take on Quetta Gladiators in Pakistan Super League final today in Dubai cricket stadium.
