Wounds still healing: Peace conference remembers BKU victims

Government College Shabqadar Principal said they hired four security guards from their college’s fund after the attack

SHABQADAR:

In remembrance of the victims of Bacha Khan University attack, Insaf Students Federation Charsadda organised a peace conference at Government Degree College Shabqadar on Monday. “The main purpose of the conference is to remove terror from the students’ mind,” BKU student and ISF Shabqadar President Muhammad Shoaib told The Express Tribune.

ISF Charsadda President Kamran Khan Haleemzai said they observed that students have started missing classes at schools and colleges in Charsadda district after the attack. Therefore, through such conferences they will deliver the message of peace to boost students’ morale, he added.

Government Degree College Shabqadar Principal Mehboob Khan said they hired four security guards from their college’s fund after the attack.
