SWABI: Anti-corruption Swabi officer, Ameer Hussain Khan, has sealed the office of the excise and taxation department because customers were allegedly charged extra money so cars could be registered illegally. The move was taken after Anti-Corruption Establishment K-P Director Ziaullah Toru ordered an enquiry into the matter. The anti-corruption officer received complaints from locals that the excise office was issuing registration papers illegally. When asked, the excise and taxation department did not share department records and locked the office. Subsequently, Ameer Hussain sealed the office and started an enquiry.
