Plan issued for hiring in Education Department
The final merit list of successful candidates will be displayed on May 31

The Education Department has issued a scheduled for the recruitment of educators and assistant education officers.
A spokesperson for the Education Department said on Thursday that the department’s district heads have been directed to point out vacant seats of educators and assistant education officers in their respective areas. The applications for recruitment will be received up till April 12. After a scrutiny process, the merit lists will be displayed on April 30.
Any objections from candidates regarding the preliminary merit lists will be received between May 10 and 14 and interviews for the recruitment of educators and assistant education officers will be held by May 18. The final merit list of successful candidates will be displayed on May 31 and appointment letters will be issued by June 15, he said.
