RAWALPINDI: The Lahore High Court Rawalpindi bench has commuted a death sentence awarded to a man convicted of murdering his cousin to a life term. Abrar Hussain Shah was arrested on charges of killing his cousin Bilal Hussain Shah over a matrimonial issue. The counsel for the convict contended that the capital punishment of his client be set aside as officials from Saddar Police Station, Hassanabdal could not provide enough proof to justify a death sentence.
