A number of education department officials, two medical superintendents and several bank officials have been nominated in a case after a fake recruitment scandal surfaced.
On a complaint of the district coordination officer (education), the Civil Lines police have registered a case against 19 persons including education officials, collaborators and two top officials of Holy Family Hospital and the District Headquarters Hospital for their alleged role in inducting around 49 persons into the education department on fake degrees and bogus medical certificates.
