PESHAWAR: Activists of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf have demanded the party chief look into corruption allegations levelled against the K-P government by former Ehtesab Commission director general Muhammad Hamid Khan. The demand was made during a protest outside Peshawar Press Club on Thursday. The protest was led by former PTI president Tahir Zaman and youth assembly member Yasin Ghaffar. They asked PTI Chairperson Imran Khan to conduct a transparent enquiry in order to find out the exact nature of the allegations against the provincial government. They pointed out if the allegations were true, then each and every member of the provincial assembly, including the chief minister, needs to be investigated. However, they added if the allegations turned out to be baseless, then stern action should be taken against Hamid for defamation.
