Inaugurate: SBP set to open branch in Larkana
Bux informed the participants of the meeting that it had been decided to establish a branch in Larkana
KARACHI:
A delegation of State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), led by Joint Director Qadir Bux, visited Larkana Chamber of Commerce & Industry and discussed the possibility of opening a branch with chamber President Aslam Shaikh. Shaikh informed that it has been a pending demand of the Larkana business community to have a branch here due to the high production of rice. He further informed the officials that Pak-China Economic Corridor will also pass through Larkana; therefore, it will become a hub of business activity in the future where SBP branches will play major role. Bux informed the participants of the meeting that it had been decided to establish a branch in Larkana for which they had visited several areas searching for suitable plots.
