Smuggling attempt Man sentenced to 10 years in prison

The convict will also have to pay a fine of Rs0.2 million

PESHAWAR: A man has been sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment on Tuesday for attempting to smuggle 2.5 kilogrammes of heroin to a foreign country from Bacha Khan International Airport (BKIA). The sentence was handed down by anti-narcotics special court judge Azhar Ali Shah. The convict will also have to pay a fine of Rs0.2 million.
