A Force Of Old: CM lauds FC’s efforts to tackle militancy
The excellent performance of the force reflects the quality of training it has received
PESHAWAR:
Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has said the provincial government is proud of the efforts made by the Frontier Constabulary (FC) in tackling militancy. This was stated in a handout issued by the CM Secretariat on Tuesday. According to the statement, Khattak said this while addressing a ceremony held at the FC training centre in Hayatabad. Troops of the FC’s Quick Response Force presented a guard of honour to the CM. The FC troops demonstrated some of the latest defence techniques used to combat militancy and protect civilians. Khattak said, “I am satisfied with changes to the training manual of FC as it will enable it to meet challenges in a proper manner.” The document quoted him as saying., “The excellent performance of the force reflects the quality of training it has received.”
