Your stars today

Aries | March 20 – April 18

Relinquishing control of plans or projects you’ve nurtured from day one won’t be easy. However, these have become so complicated you can’t deal with them and the rest of your responsibilities. The real choice is whether you’re willing to see these thrive, but in the hands others, or keep hold of the reins.

Taurus | April 19 – May 19

In the past you’ve walked away from disputes that would, inevitably, lead to a rupture in certain longstanding arrangements or alliances. But now you’re tempted to proceed. This is wise, because not only are the ideas being discussed worth pursuing, but those arrangements would benefit from a serious rethink.

Gemini | May 20 – June 19

The Full Moon isn’t until Monday, but the odds are good you already have the changes it accents in your work or lifestyle on your mind. For now, focus on exploring your options and, equally, what might need to go. This ensures you’ll be ready to move swiftly when the time comes.

Cancer | June 20 – July 21

By no means is your thinking rigid. If anything, you’re so determined to be fair that you waste time weighing up various options. Consequently, you’re surprised, if not alarmed, to become aware how stubborn you’re being about certain potential changes. While, in the short term, they’d be disruptive, they’re also long overdue.

Leo | July 22 – August 21

Nobody would blame you for being exasperated with one particular individual who promises one thing then does another. Instead of fuming about this, ask what’s wrong. The fact is they’re juggling far more than they can handle. Once you’re aware of the situation, you can rethink your plans.

Virgo | August 22 – September 21

With the Sun, your ruler Mercury and, now, Venus all accenting certain complex but increasingly unworkable arrangements, changes would be timely. While it’s true, there’s no simple approach to making these, the longer you wait, the more complicated the process will become. Knowing that, begin now and move as swiftly as possible.

Libra | September 22 – October 21

Being a logical and clever air sign, you’ve a remarkable ability to find solutions for the most perplexing of problems. Difficulties of an emotional nature are another matter. In fact, you’ve wrestled with certain challenging issues and achieved little. Don’t give up. Changes in the planetary setup promise crucial breakthroughs.

Scorpio | October 22 – November 20

Some decisions require no more than logical analysis of the circumstances in question. However, what you’re currently facing is more complex, so much so that you’re better off relying on your intuition. And be patient. On 28 February, the Sun’s encounter with the visionary Neptune will trigger truly inspired ideas.

Sagittarius | November 21 – December 20

Don’t be surprised if you’re having a problem mustering any enthusiasm for certain pressing matters. While it’s true, they’re urgent, they’re also taking place during an unsettled period. Knowing that, organise whatever plans are needed, but ensure they’re as flexible as possible and, as important, invest the minimum time and effort.

Capricorn | December 21 – January 19

For weeks you’ve known that, sooner or later, you’d have to rethink certain financial or business arrangements. But with the actual foundation on which those were based shifting, changes seemed risky. The trick is to reorganise things in such a way that adjustments can be made when they’re necessary.

Aquarius | January 20 – February 18

You’ve wisely kept your concerns about certain joint arrangements to yourself, knowing others wouldn’t listen to anybody’s advice until things went wrong. Now that those problems have appeared, it’s time to gently but firmly point out ill-judged decisions. The individuals in question won’t just listen, they’ll take your suggestions.

Pisces | February 19 – March 19

Tempting as it is to give one particular individual a hand, deep down you know this would lead to you shouldering burdens that really aren’t yours to deal with. True, being tough in this way is a real challenge. Yet, the fact is, taking responsibility for what are really others’ problems doesn’t help them in the least.
