Clashes in Orakzai, Bajaur kill 34 militants

BAJAUR:

Thirty four militants including a militant commander were killed in clashes with security forces in Orakzai and Bajaur Agency on Monday.

Security forces conducted a search operation in the Anzaray, Samsai,Gokai and Ghondo areas after imposing curfew in Tehsil Khar. 

In an exchange of fire, militant commander Pervaiz was killed along with his 22 companions. Two security personnel also sustained injuries. 

Security forces also targeted militants hideouts in Bajaur with gunship helicopters. While in Qamber Khwa area of Satoori Khel in Lower Agency, 11 militants were killed in clashes.
