MANSEHRA:
The MNA of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz from NA-21 Captain (retd) Muhammad Safdar has warned the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government to desist from conspiring against the PML-N district government in Mansehra.

He said this while talking to journalists in Mansehra on Monday. Safdar is married to Maryam Nawaz Sharif.

He added Sardar Said Ghulam who led the district government of Mansehra, was elected under the local government act. If the provincial government does not stop conspiring against it, PML-N would react in a way that the effects would be felt in Peshawar, warned Safdar. He lashed out at PTI Chairperson Imran Khan, questioning his claim of change.

“Patients are dying without medicines and health care facilities, while children at government schools don’t even have mats to sit on – is this the change he introduced?” asked Safdar. He also criticised the Billion Tree Tsunami project, calling it a fraud which will unravel when the project will come to an end.

CPEC

Safdar also discussed the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. He said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif would inaugurate the second phase of CPEC from Havelian to Shinkiari by the end of February.

He added the 66-kilometre-long corridor will have two tunnels, two-kilometre-long each that will be constructed by a Chinese company.
