ISLAMABAD:
Police have arrested a truck driver after he hit and killed a motorcyclist at Burma Pul on Saturday. Jawad Ahmed told Shahzad Town Police that his cousin, Umar Shahzad, died after being hit by a dumper truck (AE-0655), driven by Muhammad Fiaz. Police arrested the truck driver and registered a case against him under sections 979 (rash driving) and 320 (qatl-e-khata by rash or negligent driving) of the Pakistan Penal Code.
