Better Half : Case sought against ‘gregarious’ wife
Petitioner Sharafat Ali told the court that his wife used to make small talk with youngsters in the locality
LAHORE:
An additional district and sessions judge on Saturday sought comments from the Shahdara SHO in connection with a citizen’s petition seeking the registration of a case against his wife. Petitioner Sharafat Ali told the court that his wife used to make small talk with youngsters in the locality despite being explicitly prohibited from doing so. He said they used to have daily arguments over this. Ali said he had later ejected her from the house. Ali said she had moved to her parent’s house thereafter. He said she had been threatening him of dire consequences since then. He said he had approached the pertinent SHO to have a case registered against her in vain. The official had refused to entertain his request, he added.
