Inauguration: Passport office opens in Swabi

The opening ceremony of the Regional Passport Office took place in Swabi district on Saturday.


On the occasion, Swabi district nazim Ameerur Rehman addressed participants, saying residents of the district and Buner will no longer have to go all the way to Mardan for work-related to passports. He added the district government presented balanced funds by consulting leaders of Swabi Democratic Alliance and members of the district council.


“We believe people of Swabi are not facing any major problems,” he said. “However, many locals have to grapple with gas shortage that needs to be resolved by the government and Adviser to Prime Minister Ameer Muqam.”


Muqam inaugurated the office and told the audience that his party, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz believed in working for public welfare.


He added sub office of Sui gas and NADRA is Marghaz and Razar will also be set up in near future.
