PESHAWAR: Peshawar DC Riaz Mehsud has issued appointment letters to 274 successful candidates for the post of village secretaries in various union councils. A ceremony was held in Nishtar Hall on Thursday where Mehsud distributed the appointment orders to the successful candidates. On the occasion, the DC said, “All appointments were made on merit and the village secretary has an important role in society.”
