This or that: White wash vs Black out

They’re both stunning and a half, specialising in can making hearts race in a matter of seconds. But this time around, both Penelope Cruz and Karlie Kloss slayed like never before! The duo looked timeless at the premiere movie, Zoolander 2 in Madrid this week.

Penelope Cruz



Hair and makeup: Sporting the ultimate glamour-marries-royalty look, the Vanilla Sky star highlighted her olive-golden complexion with a bout of illumination and a nude-mauve lip colour. The brunette gave her silky mane the laid-back treatment and let them free in a casual straight style with subtle waves.

Outfit: Cruz pulled out all the stops in a striking panelled gown by Atelier Versace. The white and gold number accentuated her skimpy waistline and also boasted of a heavily embellished first layer and a plain whitish-crème fabric draped over. Needless to say, she looked angelic.

Accessories: Talk about radiating finesse without accessorizing at all! The Spaniard beauty glazed her breathtaking outfit with minimal accessories. A couple of rings on her picturesque hands and that signature sultry gaze were the only things she needed to make us fall in love.

Karlie Kloss



Hair and makeup: Karlie went for a glowy, au naturel look as she attended the star-studded premiere. The latest spokesmodel for L’Oreal Paris played the restrained make-up game, rocking a light pink lip, defined brows and a hint of blush that helped define her privileged cheekbones. Kloss’ signature dirty blonde locks were styled in a delicate side parting.

Outfit: The former Victoria’s Secret Angel slipped into a jet-black figure-enveloping, halter dress with a sultry thigh-split. The floor-sweeping number exhibited the starlet’s toned shoulders and yelled simplicity and sophistication. This girl knows how to doll up right.

Accessories: The six feet tall bombshell amped up a few more inches to her already soaring frame by wearing delicate, strappy heels. She underscored her all-black ensemble further by adding a pop of colour in the form of maroon toe nails.
