Three women teachers die as vehicle crashes into tree near Haripur

Accident happened due to over-speeding, which also left five others wounded

Another woman teacher is stated to be in a critical condition.

HARIPUR: Three women college teachers were killed and five others injured when their vehicle crashed into a tree in Haripur district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday.

A high-roof vehicle enroute to Abbottabad lost its control due to over-speeding and crashed into a tree on GT Road near Baldhair, killing three teachers of the Government Postgraduate Girls College.

The deceased were identified as Anila Kosar, Nazia Bibi and Asma Razzaq. They were residents of Havelian area.

Vehicle collision leaves three dead in Haripur

The injured were identified as driver Ajmal, Irum Naz, Saba Bibi and Ifra Maqbool, while another teacher Sidra was stated to be in a critical condition. They were shifted to Ayub Medical Complex, Abbottabad.

On December 15, three people were killed after a dumper's head-on collision with a car on GT Road near Haripur’s Mohra Village also owing to the reckless driving.
