National Action Plan: Five taken into custody during search operation

MULTAN:

Law enforcement agencies have taken five people into custody in a door-to-door search operation in Multan on Monday.

The team conducting the operation comprised army, police and Elite Force personnel. They sealed off the Jalilabad area and set up pickets on roads leading there. Ikram said the police checked all vehicles travelling to the area. Joint Task Team Incharge Shabana said the team had searched over 300 houses and had taken five suspected terrorists into custody.

She said that the CPO had personally monitored the operations and had ordered all superintendents to check security patrolling and the Muhafiz Squad.
