LAHORE:

Renowned actor and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MPA Kanwal Nauman suffered a brain hemorrhage on Monday.

She was taken to Jinnah Hospital where doctors treating her blamed high blood pressure for the stroke.

A spokesman for the Health Department said a medical board had been constituted to treat her. The board includes Prof Muhammad Masood, Prof Waseem Shafqat and Dr Mohsin Zahir.

“Kanwal Nauman was admitted to Jinnah Hospital in a critical condition. Doctors say she has suffered a brain hemorrhage,” he said.
