The Government Ghausia Girls and Boys Elementary Primary School in Paposh Nagar received a bomb threat on Monday, allegedly from the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, warning the administration to close down the school.
The letter, written in Urdu, warned the school to close down immediately. The administration sent students home and informed the police and Rangers, which reached the premises and started investigations. "We cannot take it lightly," said headmistress Afsheen Safdar.

"We need proper security to secure the lives of teachers and students." Intelligence agencies have already warned about possible terrorist attacks at schools as well as school buses. Police officials said security has been boosted at the school.
