ABOTTABAD:
A Pakistan Peoples Party-Shaheed Bhutto district president was sent to DI Khan jail on Sunday. The accused was held under Section 3 of the Maintainance of Public Order.

Police said that on January 28, PPP-SB district president Salim Shah along with 25 activists and villagers was protesting against shifting of bus terminal on Shimla Hills Road. They staged a sit-in and blocked Karakoram Highway for four hours and as a result, hundreds of vehicles were stuck in a massive traffic jam.  When the situation worsened, police reached the spot and arrested Shah. They lodged an FIR against him but he obtained bail before arrest from the local court.
