Prohibition case: Case against Odho pushed to Feb 4

The actress was booked on June 6, 2011, and was arrested by Airport Police officials

The hearing for a liquor recovery case against film actress and television star Atiqa Odho has been adjourned till February 4.


The prosecution will argue at Odho’s acquittal plea during the next hearing. Odho, a former member of All Pakistan Muslim League, was detained at the Islamabad airport by customs officials on June 5, 2011, after two bottles of liquor were recovered from her luggage.


The actress was booked on June 6, 2011, and was arrested by Airport Police officials after former Supreme Court chief justice Iftikhar Chaudhry took a suo motu notice.
