Your Stars Today

Aries | March 20 – April 19

Ordinarily agreeing to ideas or offers first, and asking questions later would be foolhardy. But now, with things moving so swiftly, you’ll want to ensure others know you’re not just intrigued, but actually want to be involved. Once you are, there’ll be plenty of time to discuss details.

Taurus | April 20 – May 20

Recently, you ignored certain potentially troublesome issues because you assumed they wouldn’t influence other, more pressing matters. Suddenly, everything has changed and these, too, need attention. Don’t tackle them alone. You needn’t explain past events or justify any of your decisions. Others know enough for you to deal with these together.

Gemini | May 21 – June 20

Usually your ability to find a way around potentially troublesome matters is a virtue. It gives you time to come up with a workable strategy. Now, however much you’ve tried to find a solution, time is running out. You’ll either have to play your hand or give in to those demands.

Cancer | June 21 – July 22

Disruptive as a top to bottom change in plans may be, over the coming days you’ll realise it’s your only choice. In fact, the more you learn about existing arrangements and explore where altering them would take you, the better prepared you’ll be to give serious thought to a revolutionary approach.

Leo | July 23 – August 22

Only now is it becoming clear that certain facts you regarded as common knowledge could be regarded as sensitive issues, at least for some. You can’t be blamed for what you said before you realised this, and so needn’t apologise. Now that it’s clear, you owe it to others to be discreet.

Virgo | August 23 – September 22

Although the past weeks were demanding, much of what you faced and dealt with involved close friends, family and loved ones. These were indicated by your ruler Mercury’s presence in that portion of your chart. And now that things are calmer, you’ll be able to enjoy others, and without the complications.

Libra | September 23 – October 22

Forget about avoiding sudden changes in plans. True, they’ll be unsettling and others will complain. Still, you’d quickly regret trying to keep things as they are. Judging by the current and coming planetary activity, whatever difficulties there are now will only be compounded. The sooner you begin rethinking things, the better.

Scorpio | October 23 – November 21

Giving up ground in arrangements you fought for may seem a big defeat. But if you consider changes in circumstances, you’ll realise keeping things as they were would have been costly, and in many ways. While it seems you’ve no options, be patient. Within a short time, worthwhile alternatives will appear.

Sagittarius | November 22 – December 21

Usually you’ll happily rethink plans. But after a long, challenging and disruptive period, all you want is for something to go smoothly. Sad to say, that’s a bit much to hope for, at least over the coming week. Bizarrely, ultimately you’ll benefit from this chaos, and in completely unexpected ways.

Capricorn | December 22 – January 19

The single word no can be taken many ways. To you, as a down to earth Capricorn, it means exactly that. Or, usually. Lately you’ve faced situations that required careful negotiation, and that’s meant saying no when you didn’t mean it. Bear this in mind when others take the same approach.

Aquarius | January 20 – February 17

Every once in a while circumstances arise that require you either to stand up to one particular individual or, alternatively, challenge the way something is done. Even more important, there’s no diplomatic approach to these matters. First you must think through your views, then state them, and in an uncompromising manner.

Pisces | February 18 – March 19

You must draw a line between battles that are yours to deal with and those that affect people or situations you care about, but really aren’t your business. Your strong feelings about the matter in question complicates things further. Still, deep down, you know getting involved would be colossally unwise.
