A couple was shot dead and their son injured when masked assailants opened fire on them in Bara Bandai area of Kabal tehsil, Swat. The three were attacked Tuesday midnight.

Tribune armed people entered the house of Mohammad Azeem Khan in Bara Bandai.
The gunmen shot Muhammad Azeem and his wife Ranara dead, while Rahmat Ali, the son, suffered injuries.
Muhammad Azeem is known for his wealth in the area. Bacha said the incident seemed to be a sensitive matter and officials were investigating to determine whether this was a robbery or an act
of terror.
On the other hand, a body was found in Khwazakhela. It was later identified by authorities. In Kotanai village of Khwazakhela, the corpse of Akhtar Ali was found. Police said investigation was under way.
